You may have read my story, Yes that is my naked baby at Chick-fi-la and now completely understand why I decided I have to have a safety basket in the car. I was only going out for lunch and didn’t think about restocking the diaper bag. As as we got to the restaurant my youngest had diarrhea up his back and all over the carseat. No wipes, no extra clothes.. Luckily I had one diaper. After that day I decided to keep a safety basket in the car with the extras I may need. The first thing I added, wipes! I stopped into CVS got Huggies Clutch ‘n Clean Wipes.
If you are making trips this holiday season make sure to get these items in your car before your trip. Huggies for Holidays makes life easier. #CVSHuggiesHeroes

Here are my top 10 things I always keep in my car for the kids!
Even when the kids are out of diapers, wipes come in handy for any mess that may happen in the car. If you need to take them in the store just grab the wristlet and go.
2. Extra Diapers:
I never seem to have enough when I’m out. If your kids are starting to potty train I would keep some extra under pants in the basket.
3. Books and games:
It doesn’t matter if your driving cross country or to the store down the street, kids get bored. Keep books or games in your basket to pass to the kids when they just won’t stop asking, “are we there yet”.
4. Extra Clothes:
Luckily when I was caught without extra clothes for my baby it was in the middle of the summer. During the cold seasons we can’t just let them run around in the diaper only. Keep an extra set of those in the car for spills or blowouts.
You get stuck in traffic or the lines at the store are extra long. Somedays a quick trip ends up being a long one. I keep snacks in the car for these moments.
6. Drinks or Sippy Cups:
When your head out to dinner and are caught with out your sippy cup for your 14 month old. Those extra clothes will come in handy if I allow him to drink with out one!
7. Hand Sanitizer:
Keep the clean after you stop at the gas station and the bathroom is out of soap.
8: First Aid Kit:
Slips and trips happen. Keep a kit in your basket for those little moments.
Around this time of year we all travel a little more and the weather is a little colder.
10. Plastic Bag:
A place for the soiled clothes or to pick up any trash left in the car.
Build yours in a basket or bag, just make sure your not caught empty handed again!
