Time to get real mama’s, there are just some things that we will never keep clean. No matter how hard we try or how many times we clean it up it’s an never ending cycle. I pick up or clean up and then I turn around and it’s a mess again! Having toddlers in the house is always a blessing, but it’s also always a mess. These are the 10 things I can never keep clean!
#1: The shirt you are wearing: It doesn’t matter if your in that old tee shirt from years ago or wearing that adorable top you spent a little to much on, your kids automatically assume it’s a tissue to either wipe their snot on it or clean off their hands with it.
#2: The floor: If you have toddlers in the house then chances are your floors aren’t clean. Crumbs from crackers, toys everywhere, and random items your kids find around the house that they drag around (at my house it’s spices. They love to empty the spice rack and lay bottles of spices around the house). <– Can someone remind me why I buy toys again?
#3: The kid’s closet: Toddlers love to pick out their own clothes or just throw them all over the floor, pretty much the same things to them.
#4: The kitchen table: I wipe down the table every time the kids eat. Every single time! It doesn’t matter though. I still have sticky jelly stuck on it no matter how hard I scrub.
#5: Their clothes: I bought my boys the most adorable outfits when they where born. And now they are covered in diarrhea diaper explosion stains.
#6: Any dresser drawers: I took 3 hours to organize and fold all the clothes nice and pretty. They all got thrown on the floor in just 3 minutes when mommy took a bathroom break.
#7: Their face: My kids are always getting food stuck to their face or boogers stuck to their nose. but go ahead, try and wipe it off, I dare you…
#8: The bathroom: Just one phrase to explain this one… potty training.
#9: Any surface: windows, end tables, the television screen. They all have tiny little sticky finger prints all over.
# 10: Your Kids: Kids just don’t stay clean. Ever. I give them baths, I promise. Somehow they usually end up with jelly on their face, yogurt in their hair, marker on their arms, and something sticking between their fingers that is now collecting lint..
