This weekend we got outside and did some fun Corn Painting!
My oldest son has done lots of painting like this (spaghetti & gourds), but this was my little guys very first food painting activity! They both had a blast with it.
This project was so easy! Corn is really cheap at the grocery store right now, and we always have craft paint on hand. I took the boys outside (of course) and we had fun painting with corn!
What you need:
– Craft paint (washable)
– Paper plate
The how to:
1. Put a small amount of paint on a paper plate.
2. Peel corn and allow child to create and design with the corn, rolling or stamping!
3. Explore and talk about the different textures like the bumpy corn and wet paint.
If you like this craft, PIN IT!
