I really believe that the Word of The Lord is living and active and a powerful weapon against the enemy! It’s really important that we are using scripture while we pray! Today I am sharing some great Verses to Pray Over Your Husband That Will Help Allow Him to Lead
I’ll be the first one to admit that allowing your husband to lead is not always easy and I’m not always good at it. The times I do allow my husband I just want him to lead the way I want him too. The big issue here is that I’m getting in the way of allowing my husband to obey Gods command for him. God wants my husband to lead and when I jump in the middle of it I don’t allow my husband to fulfill that commandment. Something that I find helps me is to pray for my husband. I know if he is follow God’s will then I have no worried when it’s time for him to lead the family To be a good leader for your family you want your husband to be the man god wants him to be; that he will love you, find his strength in the Lord, not be overtaken by temptation, and be a kind and tenderhearted person open to Gods direction. I wanted to share with you some of the verses that I pray over my husband and hope that you other wives take these scriptures and use them to pray over your husband.
Pray that your husband will be the man God wants him to me:
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthily of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. (Ephesians 4:1-2)
Pray that your husband will love you as Christ does:
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. (Ephesians 5:25-29)
Pray that your husband will find his strength in The Lord:
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
Pray that your husband will not be overtaken by temptation:
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Pray that your husband has a giving and generous heart:
Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse. (Proverbs 28:27)
Pray that your husband have be compassionate and forgiving spirit:
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32)
